18 in Adjustable Squeegee Trowel

This Marshalltown hand tool is built for spreading and smoothing plaster or drywall compound. An 18 in rubber blade with a square profile covers large areas quickly. The DuraSoft handle measures 7 1/2 in and is shaped for an ergonomic grip during extended use.

Finishers needing a wide, flat blade

Professionals who prefer a broad, flexible rubber squeegee for final coats will find this model suited to the task. Workers who require a notched blade for adhesive application or a narrower profile for tight corners should consider a different tool design.

DuraSoft ergonomic handle

The handle material and shape reduce hand fatigue and improve control when working overhead or at length. No additional accessories or software are included with this squeegee trowel.

Questions about this item

Does the 18 in rubber blade need any backing plate or frame to stay flat?

The blade is a single rubber piece with a square profile; it mounts directly on the trowel body without an extra backing plate.

Can the 7 1/2 in DuraSoft handle be swapped for a longer wooden handle I already own?

The handle is fixed to the tool body, so it cannot be exchanged for a different handle style or length.

How do I confirm the adjustable pitch is set correctly before I start a skim coat?

Set the pitch, press the blade flat on a test board, and check that the rubber contacts the surface evenly across the full 18 in width.
