Pool Trowel for Concrete Finishing

The Marshalltown SP14D is a 14 inch pool trowel built for smoothing fresh concrete surfaces. Its carbon steel blade and straight DuraSoft handle give masons and contractors a reliable hand tool for flatwork and pool bases. The lightweight balance helps reduce fatigue during long finishing passes.

Carbon Steel Blade and DuraSoft Handle

High carbon steel resists wear while the rounded blade corners prevent gouging soft concrete. A 4 1/2 inch DuraSoft grip absorbs vibration and stays secure when hands are wet. The straight handle style keeps the wrist neutral for consistent pressure across the 4 inch blade width.

Manual Tool Limits on Large Pours

Hand troweling speed depends entirely on operator stamina and concrete set time. The fixed blade size covers a narrow path so wide slabs demand many overlapping passes. Workers needing faster coverage on big decks will find this tool too slow without powered assistance.
