Compact bench-top heat gun delivers 475 W at 120 V with a fixed 650 °F output and 3.8 cfm airflow
The Master Appliance 10008 Master-Mite is a bench-top heat gun built for shrinking PVC and polyolefin wrap in a workshop or assembly station. It runs on 120 V AC from a three-prong plug and draws 4.5 A for 475 W of heating power. The kit includes the bare tool, one attachment and a stand so the gun can be used hands-free. Operators who need variable temperature or ESD-safe operation should choose a different model.
The gun produces a single temperature setting of 650 °F and moves 3.8 cfm of air through a 1 in nozzle. Because the motor is not brushless and the temperature cannot be lowered, the unit runs at constant output whenever it is plugged in. The stand keeps the hot nozzle pointed away from the bench during pauses, reducing the risk of accidental contact or scorching.
Under sustained use the 475 W element maintains the 650 °F set point without cycling, so each shrink-wrap cycle receives the same thermal energy. The fixed airflow and non-adjustable temperature mean the tool cannot be throttled back for delicate parts or ramped up for heavier tubing. It is therefore suited to repetitive, uniform shrink tasks rather than varied thermal profiles.

Slide the pistol-grip tool into the supplied stand until it locks; the step users skip is positioning the 1 in nozzle away from the bench edge so the 3.8 cfm airflow cannot melt nearby materials.
The single 1 in attachment nozzle wears first; when the opening deforms the 650 °F air stream becomes uneven, so keep a spare nozzle on hand.
The brushed 4.5 A motor and fixed 650 °F output generate steady heat; after about 20 minutes the housing reaches its thermal limit and the tool must cool before resuming.
