Four independently adjustable channels deliver 0–30 V and 0–5 A with 1 mV and 0.1 mA resolution, RS232 control and built-in protection
The Matrix MPS-3054A is a linear DC power supply with four independent channels. Each channel delivers zero to thirty volts and zero to five amps. The unit suits development labs, test benches and education environments that need clean, low-ripple power for multiple circuits at once.
Nine memory slots store voltage and current settings for instant recall. A sequence function chains those slots into automated test steps without external software. RS-two-three-two lets a PC log data or drive the supply in system integration tasks. Independent adjustment per channel means series or parallel operation is selected from the front panel.
The chassis measures seventeen point three by thirteen point four by three point five inches and weighs eighty-eight pounds, so plan for a sturdy shelf or rack rails. An intelligent fan regulates speed by internal temperature, reducing acoustic noise at light loads. Allow clearance at the rear for the RS-two-three-two connector and ventilation; the front-panel layout keeps all controls accessible once mounted.

The unit uses intelligent temperature-regulated fans that run only when needed; dust buildup on the intake vents is the main maintenance item, so vacuum the vents every few months and the fan bearings should last the life of the supply.
Each channel is rated 30 V at 5 A linear regulation; running all four at maximum simultaneously produces the most heat, so the thermal protection circuit will shut the output down before components overheat.
Fan speed scales with internal temperature, so at low loads the unit is nearly silent; at sustained high load the fans become audible and the chassis exhausts noticeable warmth into the bench area.
