Postal scale for parcels and letters

The Max P029 is a digital postal scale built for shipping rooms, small warehouses and home offices that need reliable parcel weights. It handles loads up to 440 lb with a 10 g resolution and starts measuring from 150 g. The LCD readout shows the weight clearly for quick label creation.

Upgrade from guessing or kitchen scales

Replaces improvised weighing methods or low-capacity kitchen scales when packages exceed their limit or when 10 g resolution is required for postage accuracy. The jump is worth it when daily volume makes manual estimation costly or when carrier rate brackets demand precise figures.

Fits on a desk or bench beside a label printer

The platform measures 11.69 x 9.68 x 1.06 inches and the unit weighs 2.16 pounds, so it sits on any flat surface without dominating the workspace. Four-corner sensors keep readings steady on uneven benches, while hold and tare functions free the operator to handle packages without losing the displayed weight.

Questions about this item

What surface dimensions does the 11.69 x 9.68 x 1.06 inch scale need to sit level?

The platform measures 11.69 by 9.68 inches and stands 1.06 inches high, so it requires a flat area at least that large to keep all four corner sensors evenly loaded.

How do I set up the P029 and what step is often missed?

Place the scale on a hard, level surface, press the power key, wait for the display to show zero, then press the tare or peel button before adding any load; skipping that zero step gives false readings.

When will the LCD or the 10 g sensor need attention?

The LCD runs on standard batteries that typically last months; replace them when the display dims or flickers. The 10 g resolution sensor has no user-serviceable parts and requires only occasional recalibration using a certified 150 g test weight.
