Pre-Installation Checks

Verify the exact model number printed on your projector before ordering to confirm compatibility. Inspect the existing filter for dust buildup; if debris is visible the filter is overdue for replacement. Manufacturers suggest cleaning the filter every three months and replacing it whenever the lamp is changed. Ensure the projector is powered off and cool before opening the filter compartment.

Sustained Operation Benefits

A clean filter maintains proper airflow, allowing the cooling fans to run efficiently during extended projection sessions. This prevents internal heat buildup that can shorten both lamp life and projector longevity. Regular replacement avoids the gradual performance decline caused by clogged filters restricting ventilation over many hours of continuous use.
