Filter Replacement Schedule

Manufacturers advise cleaning the filter every three months and replacing it whenever the lamp is changed. A clogged filter restricts airflow and reduces cooling efficiency. Many projectors display a warning icon when the filter requires immediate attention.

Sustained Thermal Protection

Under continuous operation a clean filter maintains steady airflow across optical components. This prevents internal heat buildup that can shorten projector and lamp life. Visual inspection is recommended if no warning appears on screen.
