Plumette 2-Light Wall Sconce

The Maxim Mfg. 12161GL Plumette is a two-light wall sconce designed for interior decorative lighting. Sweeping metal accents form classic curves on a minimalist silhouette. It is available in hand-rubbed Chestnut Bronze or elegant Gold Leaf finishes. The fixture brings French Country charm to the spaces it illuminates.

Suits classic and minimalist interiors

This sconce suits homeowners seeking a decorative wall fixture with curved metal detailing and a choice of two traditional finishes. It fits settings where a minimalist chandelier profile is desired. Buyers needing a pendant-hung fixture or a specific finish not listed should consider other options. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Two-light wall-mounted configuration

The defining specification is the two-light wall sconce format, which determines mounting style and light output capacity. This differs from the pendant category path assigned in supplier data. Shoppers must verify that a wall-mounted, two-light decorative fixture matches their installation requirements before purchase. The item ships directly from the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

What type of electrical box is needed to mount the 12161GL wall sconce?

The fixture mounts to a standard junction box rated for the fixture weight; the box must be securely anchored to a stud or joist.

Can the Plumette sconce share a circuit with older incandescent fixtures?

Yes, it wires in parallel with existing lighting on the same branch circuit as long as the combined load does not exceed the circuit breaker rating.

How can I verify the Gold Leaf finish matches the product images after installation?

Compare the hand-rubbed Gold Leaf coating under the same lighting conditions shown in the manufacturer photos; the metallic accents should display the same warm tone.
