What the product is and who it is for

The Maxim Mfg. 92090 Aurora is a single-light pendant finished in satin nickel with a frosted square glass shade. Its modern lines suit contemporary dining areas, kitchen islands or hallway clusters where a clean geometric look is wanted. Buyers needing multiple-light fixtures or integrated LED modules should look elsewhere.

Installation ease and common issues

The fixture mounts to a standard junction box using the supplied hardware and connects with basic wiring. Ensure the ceiling box is rated for the fixture weight before hanging; an undersized box is the most frequent cause of wobble or code violations. Allow extra wire length for height adjustment during install.

Capacity and headroom

One medium-base lamp up to the socket rating provides ambient illumination for a typical seating group or prep zone. Light output scales with the chosen bulb, so dimmable LEDs give flexible levels while higher-wattage incandescent lamps max out the shade's thermal limit. For larger rooms requiring broader spread, additional pendants or supplementary lighting are needed.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Aurora pendant is working correctly after installation?

Turn the wall switch on and confirm the single frosted glass shade illuminates evenly without flicker or buzzing from the integrated socket.

What components are included and what must I supply separately?

The box contains the satin nickel canopy, square metal tubing frame and tapered frosted glass shade; you must provide one compatible bulb and mounting hardware for your junction box.

Which finish version should I choose for a modern kitchen?

Select the Satin Nickel finish listed as model 92090 for a cooler metallic tone that matches stainless appliances, or choose Oil Rubbed Bronze for warmer contrast.
