Curlicue 8-Light 35" Pendant

The Maxim Mfg. Curlicue is a decorative pendant fixture finished in Black and Polished Nickel. Its rectangular metal channel is meticulously formed into a curl design for a dramatic visual statement. Eight clear seedy glass balls are supported by polished nickel cups positioned to balance the composition. The fixture is new and ships directly from the manufacturer.

35-Inch Width Defines Fit

The single specification that decides suitability is the 35-inch width of the rectangular channel. This dimension determines whether the pendant spans a dining table, kitchen island or entryway with the intended proportions. No other size or mounting measurement is provided in the data, so the 35-inch figure must match the planned installation space.

Hardwired Installation With Prop 65 Notice

The pendant requires standard hardwired ceiling mounting and a compatible electrical box rated for the fixture weight. It frees up surface space by suspending illumination overhead rather than using lamps or sconces. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

How wide is the 35-inch pendant once it is hung?

The fixture spans 35 inches across, so allow at least that much clearance from walls or cabinetry when centring it over a table or island.

What mounting hardware does the Curlicue pendant require?

It installs to a standard ceiling junction box using the supplied canopy and chain; the rectangular metal channel and glass balls add weight, so ensure the box is rated for heavy fixtures.

What does the Proposition 65 notice mean for installation?

The warning indicates the finish contains a listed chemical; wear gloves when handling and wash hands afterwards, but normal residential use after mounting poses no additional risk.
