Tucson pendant overview

The Maxim Mfg. Tucson pendant is a single-light decorative fixture finished in oil-rubbed bronze with weathered wood accents. It suits dining tables, kitchen islands or entryways where a rustic-industrial look is desired. Buyers needing multi-light output or a different finish should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power

The fixture uses one standard medium-base bulb, so heat output and power draw depend entirely on the lamp chosen. LED lamps keep surface temperatures low and energy use minimal. No fan or active cooling is present, so operation is silent.

Proposition 65 notice

California Proposition 65 warnings apply: the product contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer and a chemical known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Installers should follow normal handling precautions and wash hands after assembly.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 16" wide Tucson pendant and what step is often missed?

Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist, connect the supply wires, then attach the canopy — the step often missed is tightening the set screw that locks the stem to the bracket so the fixture cannot rotate.

What maintenance will the Oil Rubbed Bronze / Weathered Wood finish need later?

Dust the wood and metal with a soft dry cloth; avoid polishes or water on the weathered wood because moisture can lift the finish.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Tucson 10090?

The California Proposition 65 warning indicates the materials contain listed chemicals; prolonged high heat from the lamp can accelerate off-gassing, so use only the rated lamp type and allow adequate ventilation.
