What this fixture is

The Maxim Mfg. Vessel is a new 17-inch flush mount with three lights. Machined and knurled sockets in Brushed Aluminum contrast with Black round tube frames. Heavy-weight Clear hand-blown glass spheres add scale to this industrial classic. It suits rooms that need a low-profile ceiling light with a strong visual presence.

California Proposition 65 notice

This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. The warning applies to the item as supplied. Buyers who require lighting without Proposition 65-listed substances should consider alternatives.

Deciding specification: three-light 17-inch format

The fixture provides three sockets in a 17-inch diameter. That width and socket count determine whether it fits the space and delivers the needed illumination. Buyers who need more sockets or a different diameter should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How many lights does the 17 inch Vessel flush mount have?

The fixture holds three lights, each set in a machined and knurled socket finished in brushed aluminium.

What does the 17 inch measurement refer to on this flush mount?

It is the overall width of the round tube frame, so the glass spheres will sit within a 17 inch diameter when mounted.

Does the California Proposition 65 notice affect installation or daily use?

The warning covers materials used in manufacture; normal installation and operation do not change the product's compliance status.
