Addison 15in Semi Flush Mount Nickel

The Vaxcel Addison is a 15-inch semi flush mount ceiling fixture finished in nickel. It suits homeowners and decorators who want a clean, low-profile light source for hallways, bedrooms, or smaller living spaces where a full chandelier would overwhelm the ceiling height.

Build quality and mounting implications

Designed as a decorative flush mount, the fixture sits close to the ceiling while leaving a modest gap for visual depth. The nickel coating resists tarnish and matches a wide range of hardware finishes, simplifying coordination with door handles, cabinet pulls, or bathroom fixtures already in the room.

Upgrade path and when to choose it

This model replaces older flush-mounted drums or basic builder-grade domes that sit flat against the plasterboard. The semi-flush profile adds a subtle decorative tier without the drop of a pendant, making the jump worthwhile when ceiling height allows a few centimetres of clearance and the décor calls for a touch of traditional detail.

Questions about this item

What ceiling height does the 15in semi-flush design suit best?

The 15in semi-flush profile drops slightly below the ceiling plane, making it ideal for standard eight-foot ceilings where a full flush mount would feel too tight.

What mounting hardware is included for the Addison 15in fixture?

A standard canopy, crossbar and mounting screws ship with the unit so it attaches directly to a standard junction box without extra parts.

How do I wire the C0170 semi-flush mount safely?

Turn off power at the breaker, connect black to black, white to white, and ground to the green screw on the crossbar before securing the canopy.
