What Skully Is

Skully is a new action-adventure video game for PlayStation 4 published by Maximum Games under model 814290015701. You guide a reanimated skull brought to life by magical clay across a mysterious island. The ESRB rating is E for Everyone, so the content is suitable for all ages. The game launched on 20 July 2020.

Who This Suits

Players who enjoy platforming with transformation mechanics will appreciate the three distinct forms that adapt to environmental challenges. The structure offers 18 levels spread across seven ecosystems, each voiced with full dialogue and cutscenes. Buyers who want a multiplayer or co-operative experience should look elsewhere, as the campaign is single-player only. Those seeking a realistic simulation or a competitive shooter will not find that gameplay here.

The Deciding Spec

The genre is action adventure, which defines the core loop of exploration, puzzle-solving and combat. If you want a pure platformer without narrative cutscenes, this is not the right choice. If you want a story-driven journey with voiced characters and transformation abilities, the genre match confirms suitability.
