WRC 9 PS4 Racing Game

WRC 9 is a racing video game published by Maximum Games for the PlayStation 4 console. The title carries model number 814290015831 and was first listed by the manufacturer on 12 August 2020. It is sold as a new physical product for PS4 owners who want a dedicated rally simulation.

Disc-based media runs silently with no install noise

The game operates entirely from the optical disc drive during play, so there is no additional storage installation or background data streaming that would increase drive activity. Power draw remains limited to the standard console load for disc reading, and thermal output matches typical single-disc gameplay sessions.

Requires a PlayStation 4 console and disc drive

The package frees up internal hard-drive space because no mandatory install is required beyond minimal save data. An internet connection is not needed for core offline rally modes, leaving bandwidth available for other household use. Buyers who want a digital-only library or who lack a working optical drive cannot use this physical edition.

Questions about this item

How do I install WRC 9 on my PlayStation 4?

Insert the disc; the console copies required files to the hard drive, then apply any update prompt before starting — skipping the update is the step most people miss.

Will the disc or licence need replacement later?

The Blu-ray disc is the permanent licence; no subscription or separate key is required, so only physical damage would ever force a replacement.

What limits a single rally session under sustained play?

Each stage lasts roughly 12 minutes; fatigue or tyre wear in-game will end a run before the hardware hits any thermal ceiling.
