Solid Brass Mortise Turn Knob Cylinder

The Maxtech B1TK2-03 is a new solid brass mortise turn knob cylinder with a polished brass US3 finish. It measures one inch in length and uses a thumb-turn keyway that requires no key for operation. The cylinder is supplied keyed different in a single box.

Thread Size and Cylinder Face Limits

The cylinder fits mortise locks with a thread size of 1.150 x 32 UNS and a cylinder face diameter of 1.360 (34.5mm). Installations with different thread pitches or face diameters will not accept this cylinder without modification.

Replaces Worn Brass Cylinders

This unit replaces an existing mortise cylinder of the same one-inch length, thread specification and face diameter. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original cylinder is corroded, damaged or when a thumb-turn function is preferred over a keyed exterior.
