High-Security Interchangeable Cylinder

The MAXTECH cylinder uses a 10-pin telescopic tumbler system to resist bumping, picking and drilling. It fits 1-1/8" rim and mortise housings and works with major-brand surface-mounted locksets in commercial and residential doors. Two keys and a key ID card are included.

Sustained Attack Resistance

The telescopic pin design maintains its defensive profile during prolonged manipulation attempts rather than yielding after a brief attack. Hardened brass construction preserves the internal geometry so the lock continues to reject unauthorised keys and tools over time. The 006 keyway adds a further barrier to impressioning and unauthorised duplication.

Mechanical Compatibility Limits

The cylinder installs in standard 1-1/8" rim or mortise cavities and operates with existing Jimmy Proof deadlocks and mortise lock bodies. It cannot be used where a different cylinder length, keyway or mounting style is required. The interchangeable format allows rekeying without removing the lock body from the door.
