MAXTECH Grade 2 Privacy Lever

The MAXTECH LKLE13012-26D is a Satin Chrome cylindrical lever lockset built for privacy function on bedroom and bathroom doors. It meets ANSI Grade 2 standards for commercial durability and features an ADA-compliant angled lever design. The non-handed assembly works for right- or left-hand doors without modification.

2-3/4" backset with standard 161 prep

The lock fits the common 161 door preparation using a 2-3/4" backset and 2-1/8" bore. It accommodates wood or metal doors ranging from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. The solid brass latchbolt has a 1/2" throw and reversible face for flat or beveled edges. It does not suit doors outside this thickness range or non-standard bore spacing.

Corrosion-treated case

The heavy-gauge cold-rolled mechanism case receives corrosion treatment for longevity. Separate spring cartridges for inside and outside levers prevent lever sag and maintain horizontal position. Reinforced removable studs stop rosette rotation during use. The wrought brass or bronze front measures 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" with an ASA strike plate included. Lever travel is 50° with 2" clearance to the door surface.
