Premium 6x9" Coaxial Speakers

MB Quart PK1-169 speakers are a premium two-way coaxial set built for car-audio enthusiasts who want a direct-fit upgrade. The 6" x 9" format drops into many factory locations without major modification.

WideSphere Tweeter Dispersion

A 1" magnesium dome tweeter uses WideSphere waveguide technology with a removable phase lens to widen off-axis dispersion. The tunable housing lets the installer aim the sound stage toward the listening position for better imaging.

Mica-Blend Cone Bass Response

Lightweight aerated pop paper cones with a Mica blend deliver strength and superior bass frequency reproduction. The aerospace-grade PA66 composite frame with 30% glass fibre suppresses harmonic distortion, while the audiophile crossover uses tight-tolerance components for clean driver integration.

Questions about this item

Which size of the PK1-169 speakers should I choose for my vehicle?

The PK1-169 is offered in a single 6x9 inch size; choose this model if your door or rear deck cut-out matches that dimension.

How does the magnesium dome tweeter with WideSphere Technology affect the sound in my car?

The 1-inch magnesium dome and tunable waveguide create a wider, aimable sound stage, letting high frequencies reach listeners more evenly across the cabin.

What does the PA66 composite frame with 30% glass fiber do for the speaker's performance?

The low-resonant aerospace-grade frame minimises harmonic distortion so the cone and tweeter reproduce tones cleanly at high volumes.
