Ultra-slim aluminium hub adds USB 3.2, dual USB-C and micro SD to iPhone 15/16/17 Pro Max for 4K ProRes recording and pass-through charging
This ultra-slim aluminum hub adds USB 3.2, dual USB-C and a microSD slot to iPhone 15, 16 and 17 Pro and Pro Max models. It is built for videographers who need external storage while shooting. The compact design slips into a pocket for on-the-go production work.
One USB-C port is dedicated to power delivery charging so the iPhone stays powered during long takes. The second USB-C port runs at USB 3.2 speed for NVMe drives or hard drives. The microSD slot accepts UHS-II and UHS-III cards formatted to ExFAT for direct media ingest.
1080p ProRes at 30 or 60 fps needs V90 cards reaching 147 to 300 MB/s. 120 fps capture demands 590 MB/s. 4K ProRes requires an NVMe drive with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 or USB 3.2 because regular cards fall short. Standard USB-A chargers with A-to-C cables cannot supply power.

For 4K ProRes use an NVMe with Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB 3.2 as regular Micro SD cards may fall short; 1080p ProRes at 30/60fps needs V90 UHS-II/UHS-III cards at 147-300MB/s, while 120fps requires 590MB/s
The USB 3.2 port and Micro SD slot are the bottlenecks; 4K ProRes demands an NVMe over Thunderbolt 3/4 or USB 3.2 because standard cards cannot sustain the required write speeds
One USB-C port is dedicated to charging with PD protocol; the hub itself has no fan or active cooling and relies on the iPhone and power bank for thermal management
