Frame profile and artwork capacity

The MCS 63737 Studio Gallery Select frame holds an 18x24 poster or artwork up to .75 thick behind shatter-resistant plexiglass. A 1.1-inch wide black woodgrain profile on engineered wood suits traditional display styles for photographs and art prints.

Hanging hardware and orientation flexibility

Pre-attached sawtooth hangers support both vertical and horizontal wall mounting without extra parts. The slide-in back panel uses turn buttons that open easily for artwork changes and close securely for long-term display.

Installation practicality and common issues

The frame arrives assembled; only the back panel needs opening to insert artwork. The .75 maximum thickness excludes stretched canvas or deep shadow-box items, and the single sawtooth point can tilt on uneven walls unless a second anchor is added.

Questions about this item

Does the 1.1 inch profile make the frame heavy to hang all day?

The frame uses lightweight MDF wood and a shatter resistant plexiglass front, so the slim 1.1 inch profile keeps the overall weight low for secure hanging on standard hooks.

What mounting hardware must I already have to hang this 18x24 frame?

Pre-attached sawtooth hangers are included for both horizontal and vertical orientation; you only need wall hooks, nails or screws suited to your wall type.

Will my existing 18x24 posters fit behind the .75 inch depth allowance?

Yes, the frame holds an 18x24 poster up to .75 inch thick, so standard prints, photos or artwork slide in and are secured by the slide-in back with turn buttons.
