Frame size and audience

The MCS 68863 is a 24 x 36 inch poster frame with a 1.5 inch wide profile finished in medium oak woodgrain. It suits anyone displaying large-format prints, photography or movie posters in a home or office setting.

Hanging limits

Two pre-attached sawtooth hangers support vertical or horizontal orientation, but the frame weighs enough that drywall anchors or stud mounting are advisable for secure installation. The shatter-resistant plexi front protects the artwork while keeping the overall package lighter than glass.

Installation notes

A drop-in back allows quick insertion of the print without tools, though the large 26.25 x 38.25 inch outer dimensions make solo handling awkward. Aligning the artwork perfectly before snapping the back shut avoids the need to reopen the frame.

Questions about this item

What does the 24x36 inch size mean for the poster I can fit inside?

The frame holds a 24 by 36 inch poster or print; the visible opening matches that size while the outer dimensions measure 26.25 by 38.25 inches including the 1.5 inch wide profile.

How does the 1.5 inch wide profile affect the look on my wall?

The 1.5 inch wide extruded plastic profile creates a bold border around the artwork and brings the outer frame size to 26.25 by 38.25 inches for a substantial gallery presence.

What hanging hardware is included and how does it work for both orientations?

Two pre-attached sawtooth hangers are fixed to the back, allowing the frame to hang vertically or horizontally without any extra hardware.
