Cork Surface Board for Home Office

This Meadwestvaco bulletin board provides a 48 by 36 inch cork surface for pinning notes and displays. The self-healing material reseals after pin removal to prevent crumbling and visible holes. An oak-coloured fiberboard frame surrounds the tan cork. Pass-through wall-mount hardware is included for direct installation.

Suited to Light-Duty Display Needs

The board fits home offices, cubicles or study areas where occasional pinning is required. Buyers needing a larger writing area, a magnetic surface or a lockable enclosure should consider a different product type. The fiberboard frame is not designed for heavy industrial environments.

Self-Healing Cork Surface

The cork face reseals around pin holes to maintain a clean appearance over repeated use. This single characteristic determines whether the board meets the durability requirement for frequent pinning cycles.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 48 x 36 in board with the included pass-through wall-mount hardware?

Use the pass-through wall-mount hardware to hang the 48 x 36 in board by driving screws through the frame into wall studs; the step often missed is checking the frame is level before tightening the screws.

Will the self-healing cork surface need replacement or regular maintenance?

The self-healing cork reseals pin holes, so the surface does not need replacement and requires no regular maintenance beyond occasional dusting.

What is the first limit that appears under sustained pin use on the 48 x 36 in cork surface?

The surface self-heals, so the first practical limit is running out of the 48 x 36 in display area before the cork degrades.
