1800 W overload limit

The unit is rated for a maximum load of 1800 W and will flash an overload warning when that threshold is exceeded, disabling all buttons until the load is reduced or removed. This hard ceiling means high-draw devices such as electric heaters, large air-conditioners or workshop tools cannot be monitored safely. Users needing to measure circuits above this limit must use a different class of meter.

Compact backlit display

A 2.36 by 1.85 inch LCD with blue backlight and 180° viewing angle remains readable from the side or below, and the backlight timeout can be set to 10 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 8 hours or always on. Data is retained automatically when the plug is removed or during a power cut, so cumulative kWh and cost figures are never lost. The corded design requires a free mains socket and enough clearance for the appliance plug.
