Pure Water Taste

The Mecity K221 is a 1.7 litre electric kettle that keeps every drop away from plastic. A 1500 watt element brings a full kettle to a boil in under six minutes. The double wall stainless steel body stays cool outside while water stays hot inside. A ClearTouch screen offers six preset programmes for infant formula, green tea, white tea, oolong tea, coffee and a full boil.

Setup Checks

Confirm your countertop can accommodate a kettle 10.6 inches high and 6.3 inches wide. Ensure a standard mains outlet is within reach of the power cord. The 100 percent food grade stainless interior means no plastic contacts water, so no extra filtration is required. Allow space above the lid for steam to vent safely during rapid boiling.

Upgrade Path

This model replaces any kettle that uses plastic interior parts or lacks precise temperature control. The jump is worth it when you need repeatable heat for delicate teas or baby formula without guesswork. The two hour keep warm function removes the need to reboil. Mute mode silences alerts for quiet mornings.
