Target Screens and Load

The GMW866-AMAZ mount accepts flat-panel displays from 32 to 70 inches and supports a maximum load of 110 lbs. It matches VESA 600x400 mm hole patterns found on most LCD, LED and plasma televisions in that size range. The wall plate spans 18.9 inches for secure anchoring.

Fixed to Full Motion Upgrade

Replacing a static bracket with this double-articulating arm adds 120 degrees of swivel and a tilt range of +10 to -20 degrees. The extension travels from 2.5 to 20 inches, so the screen can be pulled forward for viewing or pushed flat against the wall. The jump is worth it when seating positions vary or glare changes through the day.

Capacity and Limits

The 110 lb rating and 600x400 mm VESA fit cover the majority of 32 to 70 inch sets, giving comfortable headroom for typical living-room models. Heavier commercial displays or screens with wider hole patterns exceed the rated capacity. Very large rooms may need more swivel than the 120 degree maximum provides.

Questions about this item

What VESA pattern and wall-plate length does the GMW866-AMAZ require for mounting?

The mount fits VESA 600x400 mm hole patterns and uses a wall plate that is 18.9 inches long.

How is the mount attached to the wall, and what step is often missed?

Secure the 18.9-inch wall plate to wood studs or concrete using the supplied lag bolts or anchors; the step often missed is confirming the plate is level before drilling all holes.

What maintenance will the articulating arms and tilt mechanism need over time?

Periodically check that the arm bolts and tilt-pivot screws remain tight, and apply a light machine-oil dab to the swivel joints if movement stiffens.
