What It Is

The Megaware KeelGuard is an 8-foot do-it-yourself keel protector in Light Gray. It shields a boat’s keel from abrasion caused by sand, rocks and ramp launches, preserving the gelcoat and underlying fiberglass laminates.

Adhesion Limits

A pressure-sensitive adhesive permanently bonds the contoured edges to the hull surface. The bond relies on proper surface preparation and will not adhere to contaminated, wet or improperly cured substrates.

Length Determines Fit

The protector measures exactly 8 feet, so it suits keels of that length or shorter when trimmed. Boats with longer keel runs will need additional sections or a different size.
