Mellanox Technologies MFS1S00-H003V 200 Gbit/s QSFP56 Active Optical Cable 9.84 ft

200 Gbit/s InfiniBand active optical cable

The Mellanox MFS1S00-H003V is a QSFP56 active optical cable built for 200 Gbit/s InfiniBand links. It connects network devices in high-performance compute or storage clusters where low latency and high bandwidth are required. The 9.84 ft length suits rack-to-rack or intra-row cabling in dense deployments.

Sustained 200 Gbit/s throughput over 9.84 ft

The AOC design maintains the full 200 Gbit/s data rate continuously across the 9.84 ft span without the signal degradation that limits passive copper at this speed. HDR support ensures the link operates at the rated InfiniBand HDR rate during prolonged workloads. Active optics keep bit-error rates low under constant load.

Low power draw and silent operation

Active optical cables consume less power than equivalent active copper assemblies and generate no fan noise because they have no active cooling. The QSFP56 modules dissipate heat through the host port cage, keeping thermal load modest in normal use. This makes the cable suitable for densely packed switches where airflow is constrained.
