Delivers 40Gbps dual-QSFP connectivity over PCIe 2.0 x8 with VPI, RDMA and GPU-accelerated offloads
The Mellanox MHQH29B-XTR is a PCIe 2.0 x8 network card delivering 40Gbps through two QSFP ports. It uses the ConnectX-2 VPI engine to provide hardware offloads for transport, RDMA and GPU communication. The adapter supports I/O virtualisation, QoS and IP stateless offload. It is built for high-throughput server and cluster workloads.
This card fits servers that need two 40Gbps connections over QSFP cables or transceivers and can use PCIe 2.0 x8 slots. It is not for systems that only have PCIe 3.0 or newer slots without a compatible riser. Buyers who need single-port connectivity or lower speeds should look at other models. Environments requiring different connector types are also not addressed.
The card installs in a PCIe 2.0 x8 slot and negotiates at that generation and width. Bandwidth scales with the slot capability provided by the host platform. Verify that the target server exposes a matching slot before purchase. No other specification overrides this requirement.
