What this stylus does

The Metapen ME-APP152 A8 is a USB-C rechargeable stylus built for iPad models released between 2018 and 2026. It delivers 0.1 mm pixel precision without pressure sensitivity, making it suited for note-taking, sketching and precise navigation. A 30-minute charge provides up to 10 hours of use, and a 4-minute top-up adds two hours. The white barrel measures 6.53 in by 0.35 in by 0.35 in.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Writers, students and casual artists who want palm rejection and fast charging on supported iPad Pro, Air and Mini models will find it practical. Buyers who need pressure-sensitive brush control or magnetic attachment and wireless charging should look elsewhere, as this stylus lacks both features. It also does not support capacitive screens outside the listed iPad range.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm your iPad model appears in the 2018-2026 compatibility list covering Pro 12.9, 11 and 13-inch M4, Air 3, 4, 5, M2, M3 and Mini 5 and 6th generation. Ensure a USB-C power source is available for the 30-minute full charge cycle. The package includes two spare polymer tips rated for 20 km of writing and 3000 impact cycles, so no separate tip purchase is required initially.

Questions about this item

Which iPad models must I already own for the ME-APP152 to work?

It works with iPad 6th through 11th generation, iPad Air 3rd, 4th, 5th, M2 and M3, iPad mini 5th and 6th, and iPad Pro 11-inch, 12.9-inch and 13-inch M4 models released between 2018 and 2026.

Can I keep using my older iPad Pro 12.9-inch alongside this stylus?

Yes, the stylus supports the 12.9-inch iPad Pro models listed in the 2018-2026 range, so an older compatible Pro will work without any extra steps.

How do I know the stylus is working correctly after I pair it?

The LED indicator shows battery level by colour, the tip draws with 0.1 mm precision and no noticeable lag, and palm rejection activates automatically when your hand rests on the screen.
