Upgrades basic capacitive styli

The M1 replaces generic rubber-tip pens that lack pressure sensitivity, tilt awareness and magnetic attachment. The jump is worth it when you need precise ink flow, 300-hour standby and a secure magnetic dock on the tablet edge.

Questions about this item

Does the Metapen ME-MPP712 come with spare tips or a charging cable, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains only the Metapen ME-MPP712 stylus itself; no extra tips or cables are included.

Which Metapen ME-MPP712 version should I choose for a Surface Pro 9 and an ASUS VivoBook Flip 14?

The single ME-MPP712 model works with both devices; it supports Surface Pro 11, 10, X, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, Book 3, Laptop 4, Studio 2 and ASUS VivoBook Flip 14.

What does the 1024 pressure-level rating mean when I am sketching on a Surface Pro 9?

It gives 1024 distinct pressure steps through the 1.0 mm cone tip so line weight changes smoothly as you press harder or lighter.
