Smart lock for storefront doors

The Meterk K6 TUYA is a fingerprint smart lock with integrated lever handles designed for out-opening narrow stile storefront doors. It replaces an existing deadbolt using only a screwdriver and fits both left-opening and right-opening American standard doors. The lock supports up to 100 fingerprints and 100 user passwords for flexible access control.

Battery powered with IP54 rating

The unit runs on four AA batteries (not included) with a stated service life of more than one year. An IP54 protection level makes the lock weatherproof for use in any weather. Auto-lock timing can be set between 10 and 99 seconds, and a low-battery indicator alerts users before power runs out.

App features require separate gateway

Pairing the lock with a separately purchased gateway enables remote real-time control, lock-status monitoring and Alexa voice control. Without the gateway the lock still provides fingerprint, keypad and mechanical key entry, plus silent mode, vacation mode and one-time passwords. A 160×160 fingerprint sensor delivers 0.3-second recognition and unlocks the door within 1 second.

Questions about this item

How do I install this lock on a standard US door, and what step causes the most trouble?

Replace the existing lock with a screwdriver in minutes; the lock fits both left-opening and right-opening American standard doors, but you must set the handling correctly during assembly so the lever operates the right way.

What will need replacement later, and how often?

Four AA batteries power the lock and typically last over one year; a low-battery indicator on the keypad warns you when they are running low.

What limit appears first during heavy daily use?

The lock stores a maximum of 100 fingerprints and 100 user codes; once either list is full you must delete old entries before adding new ones.
