Subaru antenna adapter for aftermarket radio

This adapter connects the factory antenna cable in compatible Subaru vehicles to an aftermarket head unit. It supports Forester models with OE navigation from 2009 to 2011 and Impreza or WRX models with OE navigation from 2008 to 2011. It also fits Legacy and Outback models without navigation from 2010 to 2011.

Seven inch cable with heat resistant construction

The 7" cable length provides a direct link between the factory harness and the new radio without excess slack. Heat resistant materials protect the connection from temperature fluctuations behind the dashboard. High quality plastic connectors ensure a secure fit during vibration and thermal cycling.

Vehicle specific fit for listed Subaru models

The adapter is designed for Legacy and Outback models without automatic climate controls from 2005 to 2009. It does not suit vehicles outside the listed applications or those requiring a different antenna connector type. Buyers needing a universal antenna adapter or a different connector style will require a separate part.

Questions about this item

Will the 7 inch cable run warm when the radio stays on for hours?

The adapter is built with heat‑resistant materials and passive connectors, so it does not generate noticeable warmth during continuous use.

Does my Subaru need the factory antenna plug still in place for this adapter to connect?

Yes, the cable mates the original Subaru antenna connector to an aftermarket radio, so the factory plug must be present.

Will this work on a 2008 Impreza WRX that still has the original navigation system?

The adapter fits Impreza/WRX models with OE navigation from 2008 through 2011, matching the factory antenna interface.
