Vehicle fitment

These Metra 82-3023 dash tweeter adapters are built for Chevrolet Trailblazer models from 2002 to 2009 and GMC Envoy models from 2002 to 2009. They also fit the Oldsmobile Bravada from 2002 to 2004. The pair is intended for owners replacing factory tweeters with aftermarket units in the original dash locations.

Factory opening constraints

Each adapter matches the original dash tweeter aperture so no cutting or fabrication is required. The design accepts aftermarket tweeters that conform to the same mounting pattern. Installers must verify that the chosen tweeter dimensions and screw spacing align with the adapter before starting the job.

Pre-installation checks

Confirm the vehicle year falls within the listed application range and that the tweeter mounting depth clears any dash structure behind the adapter. Ensure the aftermarket tweeter hardware matches the adapter hole pattern. Vehicles outside the specified model years or with modified dash panels may not be compatible.
