Ford F-150 Rear Door Speaker Adapters

These black adapters fit 2015 and newer Ford F-150 rear door locations and accept speakers from 6 inches up to 6.75 inches. The pair of brackets is supplied with eight mounting screws for a direct installation.

Included Mounting Hardware Changes The Install

Eight screws come in the box so no separate fastener kit is required. The adapters align with the factory rear door openings and hold the speaker securely without modifying the original panels.

Suits Owners Swapping Factory Speakers

Installers working on other vehicle models or front door locations will need different brackets. Buyers wanting a single adapter or a different speaker size range should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.00 lb speaker adapter set need any gaskets or hardware replaced later?

The package includes eight screws for installation; no additional gaskets or hardware are mentioned for future maintenance.

What physical limit appears first when driving the 6.75 inch speaker cutout continuously?

The adapter itself is a passive bracket, so it imposes no thermal or power limit — the speaker’s own rating determines sustained output.

Does the black adapter kit add noise, heat or power draw when the F-150 system runs all day?

No — the METRA 825605 is a passive mounting piece with no electronics, so it contributes zero noise, heat or electrical load.
