Three-pack microfibre cloths

This three-pack of microfibre cloths cleans glass, paint, stainless steel, screens and other hard surfaces using only water. Each cloth measures 16 inches square and weighs .05 pounds. The wedge-shaped fibres trap dirt and moisture to leave a streak-free, lint-free finish. Homeowners, drivers and office workers who want chemical-free cleaning will find them convenient.

Washable and reusable

The cloths are machine washable and reusable, replacing disposable paper towels and reducing ongoing supply costs. Dampen a cloth, wring it out completely and wipe the surface; streaks disappear within seconds. No detergents or solvents are required, so there are no fumes or residues. The 99.8 per cent particle pick-up rate is achieved with water alone.

16-inch square dimensions

Each cloth is 16 inches by 16 inches (40.64 centimetres square) and .5 centimetres thick, a size suited to handheld wiping of windows, mirrors, countertops, screens and vehicle panels. Buyers needing larger sheets for broad surfaces or smaller pieces for detailed work should note the fixed dimensions. The pack contains three cloths; other pack quantities are sold separately.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Metra 8541813917 cloth for the first use, and what step is commonly missed?

Dampen the 16-inch microfibre cloth with water only, wring it out completely, then wipe the surface; skipping the full wring-out leaves excess moisture that causes streaks.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3-pack need over time?

Machine-wash the cloths without fabric softener and air-dry; they remain effective until the wedge-shaped fibres wear down, typically after hundreds of wash cycles.

What limit appears first during sustained cleaning with these cloths?

The cloth saturates at roughly 0.05 lb weight gain, so it must be rinsed and wrung out before it stops trapping the 99.8% of surface particles it is rated for.
