Multipurpose Reusable Wipes Pack

The Metra 9053-40-6 pack contains forty reusable wipes designed for exterior vehicle care and general household tasks. Each wipe can be rinsed and reused up to ten times and is machine washable for extended service life. They are more durable than paper towels and can be used wet or dry depending on the job. This product suits owners who want a washable alternative to disposable cloths.

Thermals Noise Power

These are non-powered fabric wipes, so they produce no heat, noise or electrical draw during use. No thermal management, fan operation or power supply is involved with this product. Performance is limited to the physical wiping action and the wipe's ability to hold moisture. Buyers expecting powered cleaning or heated drying will not find those functions here.

Accessories Software Impact

The package includes only the forty wipes themselves; no cleaning solutions, buckets, spray bottles or dispensers are supplied. There is no software, app or digital component associated with this product. The wipes' quick-drying and rinse-easy characteristics reduce the time spent on laundry between uses. Users needing integrated chemical dispensers or automated cleaning systems must source those separately.

Questions about this item

How do I install and first-use these 40 reusable wipes, and what step do people skip?

Open the pack, separate the 40 wipes, and rinse each one before first use to remove any manufacturing residue; skipping this rinse can leave streaks on paint.

What maintenance will these Metra 9053 wipes need, and when do I replace them?

Rinse after every use and machine wash when soiled; each wipe lasts up to 10 reuse cycles, so replace the pack once the 40 wipes have been used that many times.

What limit appears first during sustained detailing with these quick-drying wipes?

The quick-drying feature means the wipe surface can dry out mid-panel on hot days, forcing you to re-wet or swap to a fresh wipe before the job is finished.
