Vehicle Fit and Purpose

The METRA 95-5819 is a double DIN dash installation kit built for the Ford F-150. It allows an aftermarket stereo to replace the factory radio while preserving the original dashboard appearance.

Installer Suitability

This kit suits installers who want a factory-matched finish using high-grade ABS plastic contoured to the OEM opening. It includes hardware and instructions for either a double DIN or two single DIN units. Buyers needing a single DIN only solution or a different vehicle application should look elsewhere.

Deciding Specification

The defining specification is the double DIN opening contoured and painted to match the OEM colour and texture of the Ford F-150 dash. This fit and finish determines whether the installed radio looks integrated or out of place.
