Vehicle Power Solution

The Scosche TEN-BT006-US plugs into a 12V-24V cigarette lighter socket and adds Bluetooth 5.0 audio streaming plus three fast-charge ports. It suits drivers who want wireless music, hands-free calls and rapid device charging from a single adapter. Buyers needing an integrated head-unit replacement or multi-amp installation should look elsewhere.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

The unit delivers PD 20W and QC 3.0 output continuously while streaming audio over FM, keeping two phones and a tablet powered on long trips. Bluetooth 5.0 maintains a stable link for calls and music without drop-outs during extended use. The transmitter stays on a clear FM frequency once set, avoiding drift that would require retuning.

Installation And Common Issues

Insert the adapter, select a blank FM station on the car radio, then hold the answer key until the display flashes and turn the knob to match. No tools or wiring are required. The main difficulty is finding a truly unused frequency in dense urban areas, which can cause static or bleed-over from local stations.

Questions about this item

Will the Bluetooth 5.0 link stay stable during a long drive?

The transmitter uses Bluetooth 5.0 for a more stable, low-latency connection when streaming music or taking calls.

What must my car already have for this adapter to work?

Your vehicle needs a 12 V to 24 V cigarette-lighter socket and an FM radio to receive the transmitted signal.

Can I still charge an older phone that only supports standard USB charging?

Yes, the third USB port delivers 5 V/1 A and works with any device that charges over USB.
