Vehicle Fit and Purpose

This dash kit fits the 20042008 Acura TL and accepts a double-DIN head unit. The matte black finish matches the factory dashboard colour. It is intended for owners replacing the original stereo with a modern multimedia receiver.

Installation Behaviour

The kit mounts securely using the vehicle's original bracket points so the new radio stays fixed during vibration and temperature changes. The moulded trim maintains its shape over long periods without warping or rattling. Buyers who need a single-DIN opening or a different vehicle application cannot use this kit.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 957815 dash kit generate when the stereo runs all day?

The 957815 is a passive plastic and metal frame with no electronics, so it produces no heat of its own during continuous stereo operation.

What existing dashboard parts must I already have for the 957815 to install correctly?

You need the original factory dash trim and brackets from your 2004-2008 Acura TL, as the kit mounts directly to those attachment points.
