Vehicle Fitment

The Metra 99-7509 dash kit fits 2006-2007 Mazda 5 models. It supports the installation of one double DIN radio or two single DIN units. The painted silver finish matches the factory dashboard texture. This accessory is for owners replacing the original stereo in these specific vehicles.

Build Integration

The kit uses a patented Quick Release Snap In ISO mount system with a custom trim ring. A removable oversized storage pocket includes built-in radio supports. The contoured design aligns with the existing dash contours. No additional trim pieces are required for the supported radio configurations.

Upgrade Context

This kit replaces the factory radio bezel when upgrading to an aftermarket head unit. It is not suitable for vehicles outside the 2006-2007 Mazda 5 range. Buyers needing a different dashboard opening size or a non-silver finish cannot use this kit. The jump is worth it when the original stereo fails or lacks modern connectivity.
