Vehicle-Specific Fit

Long-Term Durability

High-grade ABS plastic construction resists warping and cracking under cabin temperature cycles. The factory-matched texture and silver paint maintain their appearance without fading. Precision tolerances ensure the gapless fit remains consistent over years of vibration and thermal expansion.

Daily Installation Reality

Panels are supplied for configurations with or without the factory door, covering both vehicle variants. A storage pocket is included specifically for Single DIN mounting. Installation requires a panel removal tool, Phillips screwdriver, and socket wrench, which are sold separately.

Questions about this item

Does the silver ABS dash kit warp or rattle after hours of cabin heat?

High-grade ABS plastic with precision tolerances and factory-matched texture is designed for a gapless fit that resists warping and rattles in the 2002-2010 Lexus SC430 dash.

Which tools must I already own to install the 99-8161S kit?

You need a panel removal tool, Phillips screwdriver and socket wrench — none are included with the brackets, pocket and eight #8 x 3/8" screws supplied.

Will the kit still fit if I keep the original factory door panel on my SC430?

Yes — the package includes one radio trim panel for use with the factory door and a second panel for use without it, so either configuration works.
