Purpose-built dash kit

The Metra 997326 kit fits the 07 Hyundai Elantra and enables installation of a double-DIN aftermarket radio or two single-DIN units. It includes a custom trim ring, all necessary hardware and a comprehensive instruction manual. The recessed DIN opening and contoured, textured surface match the factory dash appearance.

Quick-release mounting system

Metra's patented Quick Release, snap-in, ISO mount system allows the radio to be secured and removed without special tools. An oversized storage pocket is built into the kit for extra convenience. No thermals, noise or power-draw data apply to this passive installation accessory.

Double-DIN or dual single-DIN compatibility

The single specification that decides fitment is the recessed DIN opening, which accepts either one double-DIN radio or two single-DIN radios. Buyers who need a kit for a different model year or a vehicle without a double-DIN aperture cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

How do I use the quick-release snap-in ISO mount system when fitting the kit?

Slide the radio into the custom trim ring until the patented quick-release tabs click, then secure the supplied screws through the recessed DIN opening; the comprehensive manual shows the exact torque sequence.

What part of the kit will need replacement if the storage pocket latch breaks after repeated use?

The oversized storage pocket is moulded into the dash panel, so a broken latch means replacing the entire installation kit rather than a separate component.

Which fitment limit appears first when the kit is exposed to prolonged cabin heat?

The textured dash-matched plastic can warp around the recessed DIN opening before any hardware corrodes, eventually preventing a flush radio fit.
