Universal 2-Inch Chair Casters

A set of five replacement wheels designed for standard office chairs with 11 mm by 22 mm grip-ring stems. The polyurethane treads roll smoothly on hardwood, laminate, tile and slate without marking the surface. Each caster swivels 360 degrees on precision ball bearings for quiet, effortless movement. The pack upgrades most US-market chairs in seconds.

Fits Standard Stems, Not IKEA

Ideal for anyone whose chair uses the common 7/16 inch by 7/8 inch stem and who wants silent, floor-safe rolling under heavy loads. Buyers with IKEA seating or proprietary stem sizes will need a different stem pattern. The 1000 lb set capacity suits demanding users, while the tool-free swap appeals to quick DIY fixes.

11 mm by 22 mm Grip-Ring Stem

The single decisive specification is the stem diameter and length: 11 mm wide by 22 mm long. Measure the existing caster stem before ordering; if it matches, the wheels will seat firmly in five seconds. If the stem differs, the casters cannot be installed on that chair.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is any tool or extra part needed for installation?

The box contains five 2-inch casters with 7/16 inch by 7/8 inch stems; no tools or additional parts are required — just pull the old wheels out and press the new stems in until seated.

The stem size is listed as 11 mm by 22 mm — will that fit my chair?

The 11 mm by 22 mm stem matches the standard used on 99 % of US office chairs; IKEA models are the notable exception.

The spec says 1000 lb — what does that mean when the chair is actually in use?

The 1000 lb rating is the combined load limit for the full set of five casters; the polyurethane tread and ball bearings keep movement quiet on hardwood, laminate, tile and slate.
