The Metra Automotive Oil Film Cleaning Brush 2.0 targets drivers who need clearer glass in rain or glare. It suits anyone wanting a reusable tool that lifts stubborn oil residue from windshields, side windows and mirrors without scratching the surface.

Handheld Glass Care Tool

Weighing 0.175 kilograms, the compact brush fits in a door pocket or glovebox and requires no external power or water supply. Press the integrated release to dispense solution evenly, then wipe; the process frees you from carrying separate spray bottles and cloths.

Press-Activated Dispensing System

The built-in press mechanism meters fluid directly onto the brush head, reducing waste and preventing uneven streaks. This design lets you treat a full windshield in minutes and works equally well on household glass such as shower doors.

Questions about this item

How long does the cleaning effect last before oil film builds up again?

The reusable brush removes oil film without damaging the glass and keeps the windshield clearer for longer, though exact duration depends on driving conditions and weather exposure.

Does the brush get hot or require power during extended cleaning sessions?

No, this is a manual tool weighing 0.175 kilograms with no motor or electrical components, so it produces no heat and needs no power to operate.

What additional supplies are needed to use this brush effectively?

The brush has a press-to-release mechanism for cleaning solution, so you must supply a compatible glass cleaner or oil‑film remover fluid to fill it before use.
