36-piece exterior care kit

The Metra CWB-36 is a 36-piece exterior care kit weighing 2.232 kilograms. It contains drill brushes, detailing brushes, wire brushes, a dash duster, wheel and tire brushes, a detachable handle, a long-handle wheel brush, cloth covers, a vent brush, foam polishing pads, detail brushes, woolen pads, sponge backers, microfiber towels and a tool box.

For full interior and exterior detailing

This kit suits owners who want a single set for dashboard dusting, vent cleaning, glass polishing, wheel scrubbing and paint correction. It is not for buyers who only need a basic wash mitt and bucket, or for detailers who require machine polishers and dedicated compounds not included here.

Organised storage and simple attachment

The supplied tool box keeps every brush, pad and towel sorted and portable. Drill brushes attach to a standard drill chuck for powered cleaning, while the detachable handle fits the long-handle wheel brush for manual reach. The main issue is matching the correct brush stiffness to each surface to avoid marring delicate trim.

Questions about this item

Do I need a power drill to use the four drill brushes included in this 36-piece kit?

Yes, the four drill brushes are designed to attach to a standard power drill, which is not included in the kit.

Will the steel wire brush damage older clear-coat paint if I use it on body panels?

The steel wire brush is intended for heavy-duty tasks like rust removal on metal parts; avoid using it on painted surfaces to prevent scratches.

How can I verify the microfiber towels are lint-free after the first wash?

Wash the two microfiber towels separately before first use, then inspect the surface under light; they should leave no fibres when wiping glass.
