Audi A3 Dash Kit 2006-2013

This Metra dash kit fits select 2006-2013 Audi A3 models. It provides a professional look when replacing the factory radio. The kit supports ISO DIN with pocket or double DIN mount styles. A matte black finish matches the interior trim.

Installers Wanting ISO or Double DIN

The kit suits owners fitting an ISO DIN head unit with pocket or a double DIN unit. Builders who need a single DIN opening without a pocket should look at a different kit. Vehicles outside the listed Audi A3 range are not supported.

Secure Fit for Daily Driving

Included mounting hardware keeps the kit firmly in place under vibration and temperature changes. The matte finish resists glare and wears evenly over time. No electronic components are present, so thermal behaviour is not a factor.

Questions about this item

Do I need to already have an ISO DIN or double-DIN radio to use this Metra dash kit?

Yes — the kit provides the opening and pocket for an ISO DIN radio or a double-DIN unit, so you must supply the head unit yourself.

Will this matte-black kit fit the original dashboard cutout of my 2006-2013 Audi A3 without extra trimming?

It is moulded for select 2006-2013 A3 models and uses the factory mounting points, so the original trim removes and this kit bolts in its place.

How can I confirm the kit is seated correctly after installation?

The radio should sit flush with the matte-black surround, the pocket or double-DIN faceplate should align evenly, and all included hardware should be tight with no gaps.
