Product Identity

The Metra KIT_02 is a 52-inch exterior care brush with a built-in rubber squeegee and a rubber bumper around the brush head. It is designed for owners who need a single tool to scrub and clear water from vehicles, RVs, boats, solar panels, decks and house siding. The soft PVC bristles are safe for delicate finishes while the adjustable stainless-steel handle extends reach for high surfaces.

Practical Limits

The three-section stainless-steel pole adjusts from 32.5 to 48.5 inches, giving a maximum standing reach of 8.5 to 10.5 feet. There is no flow-through water channel, so a separate water source is required during use. The 22-millimetre pole diameter and 0.812-kilogram weight keep the brush light, but the fixed bristle stiffness may not suit heavy, baked-on grime.

Installation & Common Issues

Assembly consists of twisting the three pole sections together and locking them at the desired length; no tools are needed and a hanging hole allows wall storage. The most frequent issue is the twist-lock mechanism loosening under wet conditions, requiring periodic re-tightening. Some users report the squeegee blade can streak if debris becomes trapped between the rubber and the surface.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 52-inch and the longer 54-inch or 69-inch versions?

The 52-inch kit uses 22 mm stainless-steel poles that extend from 32.5 to 48.5 inches, while the 54-inch and 69-inch models use 26 mm aluminium poles and add a flow-thru water channel.

What does the 52-inch reach mean when I am standing on the ground?

With the handle fully extended to 48.5 inches the brush reaches roughly 8.5 to 10.5 feet overhead, letting you clean roof lines, solar panels or RV tops without a ladder.

Does the 22 mm stainless-steel pole accept a standard garden-hose fitting for flow-thru washing?

No — this model has no flow-thru function; water must be supplied from a bucket or separate sprayer while you use the built-in rubber squeegee to clear rinse water.
