Quick-access roll for detailing

This Metra microfiber roll delivers 75 pre-cut 12 x 12 inch cloths on a tear-away core. The pink 175gsm fabric is 87 percent polyester and 13 percent polyamide. Each sheet absorbs up to five times its weight in water and is rated for up to 50 wash cycles. The roll weighs 2.75 pounds total and fits in a shop drawer, garage shelf or vehicle console.

Check surface and wash routine

Verify that the paint, glass or interior trim you plan to wipe is compatible with a 175gsm microfiber. The cloths are lint-free and streak-free on smooth hard surfaces but are not intended for heavy compounding or abrasive polishes. You will need room-temperature water and a gentle detergent for washing; avoid fabric softener and bleach. Air drying is recommended, though low-heat tumble is possible with caution.

Lightweight, low-lint performance

In normal use the cloths stay cool to the touch and produce no operational noise. Their thin .2 inch profile means they dry quickly after rinsing, reducing the chance of odour between washes. The 12 x 12 inch size keeps hand fatigue low during extended detailing sessions. No external power or special equipment is required.

Questions about this item

Does the roll include 75 cloths or do I need to buy extra packs?

Should I choose the 75-count roll or one of the other series like Glossy or Checkered?

What does the 5-times-weight absorption claim mean when I am drying a car panel?

Each 12 x 12 inch cloth can hold roughly five times its own weight in water, letting you dry a panel with fewer passes and no streaks.
