Product Identity

The Metra MIC721 is a large microfiber drying towel measuring 36 by 25 inches for rapid exterior drying of cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs and motorcycles. Its bright yellow colour acts as a visual dirt indicator so users see contamination instantly. The dual-pile construction provides both short and high pile sides for versatile, scratch-free detailing work.

Build Integration

The towel folds compactly to fit in any detailing kit or garage shelf and requires no additional tools, power or chemicals to operate. It frees up time by absorbing large volumes of water in a single pass, reducing the number of passes needed on large panels. The soft-banded edges prevent marring on paint, glass and interior surfaces during final-touch buffing.

Thermals Noise Power

As a passive textile the product generates no heat, noise or electrical draw during use. The premium microfiber blend retains its ultra-absorbency and softness through repeated wash cycles without degradation. Over 95 percent of swirls and scratches typically occur during wash and wipe down; this towel traps debris deep within its fibres to eliminate that risk.

Questions about this item

How much surface area does the 36 x 25 inch towel cover before it needs wringing out?

The towel measures 36 inches by 25 inches, giving a large single-panel area to absorb water across an entire roof or bonnet before saturation.

Does the microfiber material stay cool and light during extended drying sessions in direct sun?

At 0.2267573696 kilograms the towel remains lightweight, and the microfiber blend does not retain heat, so it stays comfortable to handle all day.

What preparation does the paintwork need before I use this yellow towel for the first time?

Wash the vehicle to remove loose grit, then lay the towel flat or fold it; the bright yellow colour will show any missed dirt so you can flip to a clean side.
